No, but if you do have certifications, be sure to email to win@HerdofZebras.com when starting your profile. Some leagues require certifications for some games (and pay more money), the system will automatically notify you when you meet the qualifications for available games.

After completing your Profile: On the bottom of the app, choose “Get Games” and tap on the games that you want to accept. Tap on the desired position under the 'Refs Needed' section. You are not accepted to a game until the league/tournament accepts you. Once accepted, your games will show in the next tab, “My Games”.

When accepting games from “Get Games”, the payment for each game will be displayed under the 'Refs Needed' section along with the position of the referee. This is the net amount a certified referee will receive the following week, minus the $1.00 service fee to transfer funds.

After checking-in on time for your game, you must enter scores and major penalties after the game to qualify for payment. You will receive an earnings statement each Monday, listing games officiated from the previous M-SU week. A transfer will be made to your Stripe account the following Monday with your full payment. Stripe payments take 1–3 business days to deposit into your account depending on your bank.
